Nana & Tata came to visit

 

My parents came to visit us in October. They missed Makaiylah so much and they say that they missed me too but I think they just said that because they didn't want to hurt my feeling ;)....lol. Anywho, they weren't to thrilled with the weather here. Unfortunately, it rained pretty much the whole time they were here :( But they did think that it was very beautiful here and they just loved spending time with us! I was in heaven while my parents were here especially since my mom spoiled me with all the yummy food she cooked for us...mmmmmmhmmmm! I can't wait to go back home and visit! I miss them soooo much!

On Tuesday Sept. 22 Makaiylah started preschool! She was so excited while I was trying to hold back the tears. She went right in with no problems. As soon as she got into the classroom she asked if she could paint. So the teacher let her do so and I had to force myself to leave. We are so proud of our lil girl!

Makaiylah's 3rd Birthday

I can't believe that my baby 3!!! Where has the time gone!?! She is such a big girl now. She uses the potty all by herself, knows how to count to 13 and knows her ABC's. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful daughter.

A day at the Alki Beach

 

On Saturday we took a trip to Alki Beach. It was such a beautiful day and Makaiylah had such a blast! This was her first trip to the beach and she loved every minute of it :)

Leaving Las Vegas...

Thanks Tiffany, Chloe & Shar for coming out for coffee before we hit the road. We really appreciate it! I'm so grateful to have such wonderful friends!

Makaiylah absolutely loves this lil girl! She thinks that Chloe is soooo pretty and nice. She is going to miss her very much!

Friends...

This is me and my friend Ruthie! She's such a sweet, wonderful person. She drove up with me from Las Vegas to WA!!! I miss you sooooooo much!!! I couldn't ask for a better friend!

These girls are my partners in crime~! I really miss them! Thanks for everything! We"ll have to go to Blue Martini again for happy hour when I go visit! ;)

So before leaving Las Vegas Tiff, X & I had went to Fire Fly for happy hour (mmmmmm) and then decided to go check out the M Resort. It was really beautiful and the weather that night was perfect.

And yes Tiffany, I know... I know... I'm so horrible at updating the blog but I promise I'll get better! I miss you and thanks for always being such a great friend! I Love U!!!!!!

Elmo's Green Thumb 4/23

Last night we took Makaiylah to go see Elmo's Green Thumb at the Cox Pavillion @ UNLV. It was so much fun. She was such a good girl thru out the whole show. She was dancing and clapping while they were singing. It was truly a great time!

Petting Zoo

On Wednesday 4/22 Daddy and Jonathan took Makaiylah to go see the animals. She got to feed them and pet them. She had such a great time but was a lil sad that she didn't get to see the piglets...maybe next time. Mommy was jealous that she didn't get to go because she had to work :( but Makaiylah told mommy, "Don't worry mommy I'll take you to go see the animals. " lol such a sweetheart!

Easter 2009

On Easter Brandon had to go to work so we did a lil easter egg hunt at home before he left. Makaiylah did such a great job decorating the eggs and was great at finding them all too :)

Scottsdale, AZ Trip

We had a lunch date with Tiffany & Chloe on Sunday. We went to Pink Taco for lunch and then headed over to The Bellagio to see the flowers, butterflies & the fountain. We all had such a great time!

Trip to California 2/21/09

Makaiylah and her Tata....

She had so much fun playing with her cousins!

At first she was a bit shy with her cousin Danny but she started warming up to him and started beating him up with the ballon. It was pretty funny ;)~

While down in California...I decided to take Makaiylah to one of the many parks that my family and I used to go to all the time. This park was is Montebello and it had a petting zoo, train rides and pony rides. She really enjoyed!
